OUR STORY
In 2010 SLBC’s founder, Jennifer, had to eliminate gluten from her diet because of a heart condition. Already a vegan for 20 years, she understood baking obstacles and was determined not to give up delicious vegan treats, so she began her journey into the gluten-free baking world.
Just as she conquered that avoidance challenge, she was met with a new one; Jennifer found out that her son was severely allergic to peanuts as well as several other foods. She soon discovered the very real difficulties that families with food allergies face and wanted to help. This is when Silver Lining Baking Co. was born.

It’s Silver Lining Baking Company’s joy and privilege to bake gluten-free and allergen safe treats for those who usually have to say “no” to a baked good. We also believe that our baked goods are delicious enough for anyone no matter their food restrictions or preferences.
